We've posted the all the data for lab 2. Please notice that a lot of data is missing. Barry an I have decided that you as a class are responsible to recover all the missing data. There are too many students enrolled in this class, and it will take us too long to complete the data set. Lab 2 is due February 28, 2006.

Just for your information: I will be in the fluids lab (E3-2103) this afternoon from 1:30 until 4:30. If anyone has any assignment related questions, please don't hesitate to stop by. Also, we have posted the adjusted lab 1 data as of 3:30 today. In yesterday's tutorial there was question asked about question 10(b) in assignment 2, that I did not have a great answer to. I did a little research and came up with this explanation. I hope this helps.
I am also going to extend my office hours next week for assignment related questions. I'll most likely be in the fluids lab or in the hydrology lab (E2-2351). You can visit me anytime Tuesday from 10:30 until 4:30, or Wednesday anytime after 10:30 until your quiz. Keep in mind though that I'll will be going for lunch both days at around 12pm, so if I'm not around during the lunch hour, come back a little later. - Have a great weekend, Mason

Other Hints for Lab 1:
Use the dataset
you collected.
When the lab refers
to the collective dataset use the data for the day you
performed the
lab, not the entire class data set.
Some
corrections were made in the lab1 data.
Firstly, I
doubled concentrations that looked suspicious - if you diluted
the sample by
half the measured concentration needs to be doubled to be
representative of the sample it was drawn from.
Secondly, I
added some measurements that you will need to complete the lab.
