I am looking for highly qualified students with research interests in contaminant fate and transport in subsurface systems with and without engineered intervention.

Funding for research projects is available in the following general areas:

I am always interested in extending the scope of my research into new or different driections, so if you have your own ideas and would like to work with me please contact me and we can explore these ideas further.

Graduate Research Assistantships:

With various other sources of funds (merit scholarships and teaching assistantships), the average support for a fulltime graduate student in 2008 was ~$29,000.  Students who have applied for, or hold, NSERC or OGS scholarships, or NSERC Post-Doctoral Fellowships are encouraged to enquire at anytime about research opportunities.

If you hold a NSERC or an OGS scholarship you will automatically receive the University of Waterloo President's Graduate Scholarship valued at $10,000/year.

Please contact me if you are interested.
