Raven

As suggested by the manual, I have used -1.2345 to indicate missing climate data values in my model. However, when RAVEN is run it reports the following error: "ERROR : CGauge::Initialize: negative or excessively large (>10000mm/d) precipitation intensity reported at gauge". I presume this is because a negative missing data value was used to indicate missing data records for precipitation. Is there somewhere I need to specify this is the missing data value used?

The missing values are only valid for observations (where one doesn't need values on any date) or for periods outside the model simulation duration. Raven will complain (As you've seen) if the missing data flag is used for data which is required by the model. Pre-processing is required to infill any missing forcing data such as precip or temperature.
