On the evening of November 13th 2020, the First Year Ambassadors teamed up to deliver an hour of chatting (with warm beverages, of course)! This fun evening was hosted on the First Year Ambassadors’ Discord server and was a nice start to the weekend!

Speed Friending – November 7th 2020
On the evening of November 7th, the CEE Engineering Graduate Ambassadors held the first speed friending event specifically aimed for graduate students. The event received positive feedback from students and led to the planning of another night of speed-friending later in November!

In the lead up to Halloween, the CEE Engineering Ambassadors streamed a showing of Coraline, after distributing posters earlier with a poll to choose the Halloween movie!

During the remainder of October, following their first Study with CEE on October 14th, the CEE Engineering Ambassadors ran study sessions twice a week on their Discord channel, varying from a less structured study session to Pomodoro sessions.

Speed Friending – October 24th 2020
The CEE Engineering Ambassadors partnered with the First Year Ambassadors on October 24th 2020 to help members of the CEE Department meet new friends. Participants joined the Discord server and were circulated into different groups every so often to meet new faces in the department!

The CEE Engineering Ambassadors hosted their first Among Us Night on October 17th 2020! The group gathered on the CEE Engineering Ambassadors’ Discord Server to arrange games and use the voice channels to determine who was “sus”.

Study with CEE – October 14th 2020
On October 14th, 2020, the CEE Engineering Ambassadors hosted their first Study with CEE night on their Discord server from 7-8pm EST. The hour-long study session, utilized a Pomodoro method consisting of 25 minute studying blocks, followed by a five minute break.
