That's pretty neat. I didn't know that either. Can it do the same for anything else besides the Lake option?

There are a number of special cases for land use types that are not subject to soil processes, including LAKE, ROCK, GLACIER, and WETLAND. Page 123 of the v2.8 manual (section A.2.1) has more discussion on this. You can, of course, also define your land use types and setup conditional processes for that land use type to create your own behaviours if you wanted to (see Conditional Application of Processes, page 118).
