Additional highly qualified graduated students are required to meet the University of Waterloo Geomechanics Research Group and the Centre for the Advancement of Trenchless Technology research needs. All students accepted in the MASc or PhD degree programs are considered for financial assistance by the Department of Civil Engineering: scholarships; Research Assistantships (RA) funded by research grants and contracts; and Teaching Assistantships (TA). Additional financial support may also be obtained for services rendered for the completion of industrial contracts. Presently, Dr. Knight requires MASc graduate students to work on trenchless technology and centrifuge modelling research projects.
