CIVE 353 Geotechnical Engineering I

Final Exam is April 10 at 9:00am to 11:30am in DC 1351

Exam information:

  1. Closed book examination.
  2. Place your name and ID on all examination pages.
  3. Read all examination questions carefully before you answer.
  4. Should you have any doubt to the interpretation of a question, please submit a clear statement of any assumptions.
  5. You are required to answer:

All four questions in SECTION A …………………………….Total Value 40 marks

All four questions in SECTION B …………………………….Total Value 60 marks

  1. Each question in Section A is worth 10 marks.
  2. Each question in Section B is worth 15 marks.
  3. For Section A answer all questions in the space provided below the question. If more space is required, use the back of the question sheet.
  4. For Section B answer all questions in the examination booklet.
  5. An OPTIONAL bonus question worth 5 marks is provided at the end of the exam.
  6. The TOTAL test value is 105 marks.  
  7. Hand in the examination with all answer booklets.
  8. All required charts and equations are provided at the back of the examination.
