Dr. Liping Fu is a Professor of the
Department of Civil Engineering at the
University of Waterloo and an
active member of the
Transportation
Systems Group. Dr. Fu
conducts research in the areas of
transportation networks, intelligent transportation systems, public
transportation, safety and winter road maintenance. He has provided technical
services to many transportation agencies, including Ontario Ministry of
Transportation, Transport Canada, City of Edmonton, and ITS Canada. Dr.
Fu is a member of the Transportation Research Board’s Paratransit
Committee, a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the journal of
Transportation Research, and a member of
Canadian Urban Transit
