******************************************************************* AN INVITATION TO THE TENTH ANNIVERSARY FIREBALL XL5 EXTRAVAGANZA Live on the radio : 6 to 11 pm Friday, November 25 Live at the radio station: also 6 to 11 pm Friday, November 25 (we'll have food/snacks and some drinks) On the Internet: Coming soon to www.live365.com a constant rebroadcast of the 10th anniversary show ******************************************************************* OK so it's not really the tenth anniversary of this particular show but it has been around 10 years that I've been on CKMS, starting out way back when I called it the Frank and Friends show, going to Wackyland, a brief 8 month hiatus, then the not so cool wagon show and finally settling on Fireball XL5 for the last while. I've been listening to tapes of my old shows, some of the talking bits are hilarious. I'm recording some of them to play during the 10th anniversary extravaganza along with music that will try to capture the atmosphere of those old shows. Its been a long hard 10 years but with a lot of perseverance and hard work I've been able to make it through. However this doesn't take away from the fact that I can confidently say that going to CKMS was the worst mistake of my life. Of course I'm joking, I've make much worst mistakes in my life (for instance making friends with all of you). Quickly, this past show never really got into the election or Remembrance Day themes as I was hoping, but I did stick with the new release theme for most of the show.
