Bachelor's-Master's Program

The Department of Civil Engineering offers a combined Bachelor's-Master's Program. Undergraduate Students enrolled in the undergraduate programs administered by the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (i.e. Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Geological Engineering) who have achieved consistently excellent records by the end of the 3A term may be admitted to the combined Bachelor's - Master's program. Students must either take extra courses during their undergraduate 4A or 4B academic terms, or, if their supervisor agrees, take courses during their "special" work terms for credit towards the MASc. It is not permitted to replace one of the undergraduate technical electives in the 4A and 4B terms with courses for credit towards the MASc. Students interested in this program are urged to discuss possible programs with the Associate Chair for Graduate Studies early in their 3B term.
