Good Practices Course: Cured in Place Pipe Inspection (Sewer)

Morning Sessions- Sewers
CIPP is one of the most widely used and accepted trenchless pipeline rehabilitation methods for sewers. However, proper installation techniques are crucial to the integrity and performance of these liners. This unique session is targeted specifically on the inspection requirements during CIPP lining of sewers. This ½ day course provides participants with a detailed description of critical issues and problems that may arise in the field and recommendations to avoid or solve these issues.

The course content includes the following; definition and description of CIPP, summary of CIPP products and installation methods, overview of CIPP liner design considerations for sewers, critical inspection tasks and inspector roles, critical issues/problems that my arise, recommendations to solve and/or avoid specific issues, and documentation/quality control.

Afternoon Sessions- Watermains
Structural CIPP provides an effective, cost-efficient rehabilitation method for watermains. This innovative ½ day is the first to provide participants with a comprehensive description of current structural CIPP watermain lining methodologies, with a focus on the inspection requirements to ensure that proper installation techniques are used. This course will include a detailed discussion of critical issues/problems that may arise in the field and provide recommendations to avoid or solve these issues.

The course content covers; defi nition and description of structural CIPP, summary of current structural CIPP products, overview of CIPP liner design considerations for watermains, inspection tasks and inspector roles, critical issues/problems that may arise, recommendations to solve and/ or avoid specific issues, and documentation/quality control records.

A copy of the course manual will be provided to be used during and after the course as reference material.
