 RESEARCH

  •  Advanced methods for environmental simulation model development and subsequent use in
     environmental decision-making.

  •  Current research focuses mainly on methods for watershed model calibration, optimization,
     sensitivity and uncertainty analysis.

  •  Current modeling case studies involve application to the SWAT2000, Watflood and Watclass
     models.

  •  Heuristic optimization methods for environmental simulation model calibration.

  •  Sensitivity and uncertainty analysis techniques for environmental simulation modeling.

  •  Watershed modeling of flow and nutrient transport.

  •  Other interests include parallel computing, multi-objective optimization and the risk-based
management of water and environmental systems.

PROSPECTIVE GRADUATE STUDENTS: Please note that I will not be taking on new graduate students in 2010.
