Climate Change Impacts on Pavements - Evaluating designs, maintenance and repair methods for pavements to withstand changing climates (partnered with Environment Canada)
Braking Availability Testing - Build, calibrate and validate a device that can measure braking availability under all conditions. This information will provide aviator with a measure of braking force deceleration if maximum anti-skid braking is applied in their singular aircraft (partnered with Team Eagle Ltd.)


Measuring Sustainability - Comparing pavement design, construction and maintenance alternatives based on sustainable features including life cycle cost (partnered with Ontario Ministry of Transportation).
Field Sites - Hwy 401, Woodstock - We have an instrumented, perpetual pavement field site on Hwy 401. This is designed for a 50 year life, with only the surface being renewed, which is a sustainable alternative for high volume roads (partnered with Ontario Hot Mix Producers Association, Capital Paving Inc. and Ontario Ministry of Transportation.
